Message to the Black Youth: THEY ALL BLAME YOU! WAKE UP!

June 2nd, 2011 | By

As the keynote speaker for the annual Rainbow/PUSH Coalition conference, Cosby delivered another masterful soliloquy aimed at the destruction of the current state of African-Americans. Invited by the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Cosby blasted young African-Americans, whom he believes betrayed the legacy of the civil rights victories of the ’50s and ’60s.

“I believe you need all kinds in the debate and struggle. For example, when I was still eating meat, I was criticized everyday by angry vegans and it helped to set me up for the shift. The truth however, is that a shift to vegetarianism came from a loving friend who didn’t judge.

The title to this article is “Your dirty laundry gets out of school at 2:30 everyday”.  They are calling you dirty laundry.  See, you are the problem.  They have given you all that you need and you just cuss it all away.  They’ve provided you with Social Justice and now they can’t figure out why you repel from it.  You need to turn off the Hip-Hop and listen to more warped versions of history that they try to stuff into your mind.

Bill Cosby is willing to say it’s everybody fault, but he only mentions your flaws.  Why don’t they ever mention the failure that is the Rainbow Coalition and PUSH?  If these are the legacy groups, along with other failures like the NAACP, where is there share of the blame?  Why aren’t they admitting to their faults?  Why do they target you?

Didn’t they tell you that the system was the culprit?  Or was it the mean racist Republicans?  Didn’t they tell you America was the problem, not the inhabitants of America?  I mean, didn’t Plymouth Rock land on you?  Why is it now exciting to speak amongst each other, leaving you totally out of the conversation, with criticism and malcontent?

Then to follow it up, Russell Simmons compares it to becoming a Vegan.  Really, a Vegan?  Is that the comparison you would make for your community?

Our communities are in the condition they are in because of groups like Rainbow, Push, and the NAACP.  Yes, they lead a brilliant march in the ’60’s in a push for equality.  Yes, they faced down water hoses, dogs, and some even gave their lives.  They fought their battle and they won, and for that, they should be congratulated.  But that isn’t where they stopped.

They pushed for more public housing, food stamps, and government assistance.  They made dependency acceptable.  They let God be taken out of our schools and watched them crumble.  They gave excuses for crime and criminals were formed.  THEY BETRAYED EVERYTHING KING MARCHED FOR!  They let Planned Parenthood into our communities and validated them, neglecting to inform us of their true history.  They let Big Government suck up more and more of our rights, while they collected a check for their assistance.

And then, we found Hip-Hop.  And we got involved in the Capitalist system.  Now, they want to blame you for it.  Are their bastards among us who don’t care about anything or anyone, YES.  But is that who you really are?  Or are you just tired of the scenario which they have painted for you.  Do you see lyrics and beats as a way out.  You are not running towards Hip-Hop, you are running away from them and they will blame you and hate you for it.  Take it from a sister that knows.

I hate to be blunt, but they will be dead soon and we will be here to shape our future the way we want it.  IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?  Or have you had enough already.  The only fault you hold, is that in your own life.  You are not responsible for the weight of the black community.  You are only responsible for what you do next.  You are not dirty laundry, you are the future of this country and don’t let them tell you otherwise.

But I have one more request.  Don’t let them leave this Earth with their holier than thou belief that it is your fault.  It is time to hold them accountable for their actions and in doing so, form the next generation of leaders that refuse to live in the aftermath of their failure.

In Defense of Farrakhan & Rev. Wright: At Least They Tell The Truth

March 22nd, 2011 | By

If one thing is missing in this politically correct and perverted version of America, it’s the truth.  Nobody is willing to tell the truth about the debt, the economy, entitlements, and the list goes on.  So when someone actually tells the truth, we all look at them like them are ravenous dogs unworthy of our time, effort, or energy.  This is the plight we face with Louis Farrakhan and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.   We are told by the Media and the Elites to dismiss and ignore the voices of such crazed men.  Why?

This is the exact conversation we need to have. Why are we running from it?  Is Marxism a good thing?  Here, you have a Reverend speaking about the greatness of Karl Marx theology and we must dismiss it?

The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.   Karl Marx

That’s Karl Marx.  Are you willing to give up your Religion for Earthly happiness?  Let’s not bother with such miniscule questions the left can call us unintelligent for posing; let’s try something else.  How about we start a body count of all forms of Government that are marked by Karl Marx’s legacy.  The formula goes like this, you take all the countries that are Capitalistic.  Heaven forbid you start with the “racial trash” that hasn’t even figured out Capitalism is the only way to build wealth so Marxist can steal it.  Then you take that country make it dependent on its government until you form a Socialist Government.  This will give the citizens time to deal with their new reality; you know, get over the fact that they are no longer FREE.  Finally, a dictator presents himself, or herself as in the case of Brazil, and the Era of Communism will begin.

Communism like we see in China; where women are forced into abortions, pro-democracy protesters disappear, and Nobel Peace Prize recipients get their award behind prison walls.  When Communism was first invoked in China, Mao cared so much for the little people that he gave them all numbers instead of names.  40,000,000 killed under Mao.

Communism like we saw in Stalins Russia.  Read about Robert Robinson and all the promises made to blacks about Communism.  Then read about the great purge and how he almost died during Russia’s Communist revolution.  How Russians refused to let him come back to the US because they didn’t want to lose the Communist Propaganda war.  47,000,000 people died by torture or in gulags under Stalin.

Communism like we see in Fidel’s Cuba; where people cross shark infested waters on rickety rafts to make it to Florida.  They say the people are in better shape than those in America.  Of course they are.  They have no food and no choice but to walk everywhere they go.  They have no choice but to be thinner and more in shape.  2,000,000 were killed under Che in Fidel Castro’s rise to power.

If I were to keep this up and go through South America, well, you get the picture.  I didn’t even make a stop in North Korea where people are eating plant soup.

Then you have Louis Farrakhan.

This is Fascism. I know, I know, Fascism is a “right-wing” thing. Well, don’t front like Farrakhan isn’t “right-wing”. If he were in Egypt, he would’ve been standing beside Mubarack. He is standing beside Qaddafi in Libya and I’m sure if we were ever to attack Iran, he would be against us on that endeavour as well. As he says, “this is more complex than you think”.  The only thing that keeps him from being “right-wing” in America is the fact  he hates white people.  If he were able to win a state and put it under his dominion, I gladly offer Illinois since they love him already, I’m sure it would be under strict Muslim rule.  I don’t think Rev. Wright would  be welcomed any longer.

But no.  Let’s not have these conversations.  Let’s not decide what’s really best for us; let’s just keep our heads in the sand and deal with what ever is handed to us when the dust finally settles.  On this, I will stand in defense of Rev. Wright and Farrakhan.  Please keep speaking and forcing America to realize there is a real inside threat to this country.  Continue to help us prove the black Church is under assault and a lot of the “Christian” message being spread is in direct contradiction to the word of God.  Give us the ammunition so when Whoopi walks off stage next time, we can point out that there are black Muslims in America that are predicting our downfall.  They can’t keep calling us crazy as long as you keep telling the truth about your intentions.

Sacrificing Human Need For Material Want

March 7th, 2011 | By

As it usually happens for me, I can’t sleep and I there is nothing on the 300 channels I pay an arm and a leg to receive.   So, I stop on “Spanglish”, and laugh as the Hispanic Maid ripped the sides out of a outfit too small to fit her bosses daughter.  Just as my interest was fading, I heard an important argument I would like to share.  To paraphrase, all women yearn to be thick and full.  When they sacrifice that basic human  need to be fed and well nourished for fashion, they begin to hate everything associated with thick and full.  They find fault in women who don’t care about their waistlines, starve themselves with fad diets, and exercise until they drop; all in an attempt to disassociate themselves from their betrayal of human nature.

Is this not common?  Doesn’t every human, in some form or fashion, attempt to cut themselves off from human reality to live in the world of material want.  Some case studies, please:

  1. If you sacrifice freedom for safety, you deserve neither.   The most basic human need is to be free.  When we let Terrorist change our way of life with their deadly acts, we are, in fact, turning over our sovereignty to them.  We begin to limit Free Speech, criticize a Free Press, abandon a Free Market and gain comfort to enjoy of Materialistic lives.
  2. If you sacrifice love for money, you will forget how to love.  After freedom comes acceptance and we all want to be loved.  A person who pledges their devotion because of dollars, will not be spouse of the year, parent of the year, or friend of the year.  Once that threshold has been crossed, that person will sacrifice anyone or anything for their material possessions.
  3. What profits a man to gain the whole wide world and lose his soul?  While we have a basic need for acceptance, we also have a Heavenly duty to obey God.  We begin to let Pastors, Profits, and Politicians lead us, whether they are obeying the scripture or not, and we dismiss those feelings in our gut that tell us it’s our time to stand alone.
  4. If you sacrifice life for comfort, you will have a dis-comfortable life.  There is nothing more natural in all of creation than reproduction.  When we turn our backs on that human characteristic, it lowers us below beast, most of whom would fight to the death to protect their offspring.   Death for the living is easy to justify when you already accept death for the unborn.
  5. If you sacrifice financial independence for reparations, reparation will always be needed.  The basic human need to provide for yourself and your family, turned over to someone else’s management.  Is this why, with an 10.3% unemployment rate, their are jobs Americans won’t take?  Is this why we are losing the honor once awarded for hard work?

Are we sacrificing the important things for they things that don’t really matter?  How safe can you be without freedom?  You can figure out the rest of the questions and ponder this:  What have you sacrificed today?

A Boy Amongst Men

February 3rd, 2011 | By

I’m not an expert on Egypt. I’m starting to expand my knowledge of Islam but I am no expert on that subject either.  So, when I’m faced with a deficit of expertise and the pundits that appear on TV all have an agenda of their own, I’m forced to turn to the one thing I do know, Gangsta Movies.  If I can fit each person, or side, of a conflict into their appropriate places in Scarface, Casino, or Godfather, I can pretty much figure out how the story will end.

First there’s the Head of the Organization, or the Don; which in this case would be America.  Then there are the heads of all the families in the Organization; which in this case would be Egypt and Mubarak would be the head of the Egyptian Family.  Keep in mind that there are other families that rely on the loyalty and “mutual respect” from The Don.  There are also factions outside the Organization that would love to see the The Don fall and quickly take his place, but that’s what makes the “mutual respect” so important.  As long as The Don is even handed and allows the Men to be Men and handle their own affairs, they would support him whenever the need arises.  But when The Don starts to show favor, a lack of courage, or a waiving loyalty, the Organization is vulnerable to internal threats.

The Don sees the people start to rise up against the the head of the family and he is faced with a decision.  Now if he is blindly loyal to the head of the family, then he will show favor and there will be problems.  If he is totally against the head of the family, then he nods at his main man and the head of the family mysteriously disappears.  If he believes there is a compromise to be had, he forces both sides to come to the table and a compromise is made.  Each side walking away a little mad but knowing the Don’s word is Law.  But never is there a scenario where The Don publicly comes out and tells a head of family you must go, especially if The Don doesn’t have the stomach to fight.

Why?  Because this is a game of Men.  My meaning is not to lower the seriousness, more an attempt to let common sense rule over heart strings.  As an American, I would love to see freedom spread all over the world.  I know that Free Countries don’t go to war with each other.  Lately, I’ve had to become a realist.  The law of man and man’s behavior doesn’t change because the Liberals or Conservatives are in power.  It’s my main argument against Social Justice or Central Planning.  Men will be Men and no law or regulation is going to stop it.

Now, The Don has publicly come out against the head of a family and told him he needs to go.  He doesn’t have his troops waiting in the wing, he doesn’t have a counter-operative in the family to take over and satisfy both sides, nor does he take away all resources provided by the Organization.  What do you think happens next?  How do you tell a MAN, whether you like him or not, who has run a Country under total dictatorship for 30 years to “Go Now”?  How do you, a two year President, tell a MAN that has done the bidding of the United States of America for 30 years to “Go Now”?  And more importantly, how do you tell him to go when he knows you don’t have the spine to fight to him.

This is a why a TRUE DON would’ve had Mubarak out on the second or third day of protest and left the country under Military Control.  A True Don, especially one that made it a point to visit Cairo and placate the Muslim population on his first trip abroad, would’ve had allies in place because he would’ve known that you don’t become a dictator without playing by a set of explicit rules.  He would know that to MEN their pride is way more valuable than any amount of money or political favor.  So, the head of the family strikes back and what we get is pictures of the Government of Egypt shooting gas canisters that bare our name into the crowd of angry citizens.  Now, Mubarak’s failure as a head has turned into a major problem in The Don’s Organization.

All our allies who depended on our loyalty and “mutual respect” are now waiting for the moment when The Don tells them, to paraphase an Obama Czar, it’s time for you to step down to give others an opportunity at power.  They know if it ever comes down to a fight, The Don will not have their backs nor will he be the mediator that calms the storm.  It also leaves The Don’s family open and vulnerable because made-men are no longer respected or protected and the factions who have been waiting in the wing are Men and will take full advantage of the situation. To the head of family, who has seen his image hung from the Main Square, it’s no longer about the outcome;  now it’s, you will respect me.  The factions are now offering the loyalty The Don and head of the family lacked and the Organization begins the fight for it’s very survival.

But I’m no expert, I could be wrong.

A Socialist Playing in a Communist Sandbox

February 2nd, 2011 | By

I’m going to piss some people off with this one.

In completing more research for an upcoming project, I had a rather revealing thought.  Why did Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. have everyone  sign a pledge of non-violence?  I mean, he was a preacher, was it not in his power to put trust in his people and their faith in God?  The pieces of the puzzle didn’t fit into place until I watched Al Sharpton on Bill O’Reilly goating the host to admit King was a Socialist.  Let me fill you in on a couple facts; It’s Black History Month, after all.

Democrats, especially the Talented Tenth Black Democrats, will often remind us to be grateful to Democratic President Harry Truman for desegregating the military.  They forget to mention that Democratic President Woodrow Wilson re-segregated the military and all government offices but I digress.  What I find extremely interesting is they don’t give the Black man who forced Truman’s hand any credit.  I have never heard a black teacher, politician, or clergyman mention the name A. Philip Randolph.  In case you haven’t heard his name, he was the father of Black Unionization.  You should really research him.  He was an Atheist, a Communist, and a very talented community organizer.  He had a dream, long before Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream, of having a march on Washington.  Randolph threatened Truman with that dream and Truman compitulated signing a Executive Order to de-segregate the military.  Why don’t we know this history?

Well, maybe, it’s the fact it had nothing to do with Civil Rights.  It had everything to do with garnering more power for the the Unions.  Randolph wasn’t mad at the treatment of the average black person, he was more concerned with those paying union dues.   He didn’t care that black men where fighting in American wars for freedom, he was mad Unions with Black members were being left out of Government contracts.  He didn’t approach a Democratic President with the wonderful idea of equality because he knew the Democrats were there to help, he did it because he knew the Unions were spreading around money and politicians, on both sides, like money.  Now, don’t blame Randolph for his loyalty to the Union.  It’s not his fault that when he tried to take the message of communism to the poor blacks, they refused to buy into his non-sense.  It seems people, even poor black people, can find happiness in God and Family; they weren’t filled with hate, like they “should” have been.

Fast forward a decade or two and we’re smack dab in the middle of the Civil Rights of the ’60’s.  A. Philip Randolph is now working with the newly merged AFL-CIO, who is openly courting the Democratic Party.    The AFL, which during the early part of the century didn’t allow unskilled, or Black, workers to join, now had a price to pay to get the black community to forgive their racism of the past.  So they stuck with the strategy that brought Planned Parenthood success, the Negro Project.  In other parts of the country, a ground swell of the people was starting to form under the leadership of  a young Reverend from Georgia.  Taking his dream and everything he’d learned; Blacks aren’t very accepting of Communism,  Blacks didn’t follow Atheist, and all politicians like money, A. Philip Randolph and his Union began to court Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.” Karl Marx

My theory is based on believing King knew this.  It’s based on my belief that he was truly a man of God and a force of good.  But I have serious questions.  In looking back at pictures of his rallies and pictures in my daughters books based on the Reverends life, there are Communist signs everywhere.  “We have the RIGHT to a job”, which if you read the actual Manifesto, you actually have an “obligation” to work, which is a totally different ball of wax.  “Workers of the World, Unite”, which always begs the question of what about the people who don’t work?  Or did I answer that question in my first example?  Again, I digress.  At the same time I was asking myself these questions, Al Sharpton appears on my T.V.  “So, you will admit King was a Socialist?”  Sharpton asked O’Reilly desperately prodding the host to say the words he’d been dying to say for years.

Then it all hit me.  Why did Rev. Dr. Martin King make all the protestors sign a non-violence pledge?  He knew he was playing in a Communist Sandbox.  A man under the pressures of King would’ve known everyone he was working with.  He would’ve made sure people were checked for affiliations or at least his people would’ve checked.  Like every other Public Speaker, he would’ve known what the crowd wanted to hear and he would’ve known the right buttons to push in a Union crowd.  That also means he would’ve known how they would re-act.  He knew that he could control his church population, his new Union allies, not so much.  So, Rev. King’s non-violence, God-fearing policy brought in the people where the Communist had failed and A. Philip Randolph sat back and watched “HIS” dream come true.  A Black Communist March on Washington, who cares if it was cloaked in the righteousness of Civil Rights.  It also accomplished a Democratic Party goal, it began the purging of all their racist history as well.  In one fell swoop, with a Reverend in the lead, the black community was set to vote on policies that would get us to Socialism.

To tie it all together, if you read Marx, there is a road map to Communism.  The roadmap starts at Democracy, then Socialism, and eventually Communism.  If you get a majority dependent on Government, then you’ll have Socialism.  During the Socialist period, the common people will “adjust” to their new reality.  Then a powerful force will take power and the transition to Communism will be complete. Funny thing about Socialist like Sharpton, they seem to not know their history.  When Communist take over, the first thing they do is “get rid” of all the Socialist.  There can be no middle ground, either you are for us or against us.  If I were a Socialist, I would take this into consideration when I’m playing in a Communist Sandbox.

The Dream Act of Black Irrelevancy

January 24th, 2011 | By

On election night 2010, Harry Reid’s re-election to the Senate put the final nail in the coffin of the Black relevance.  I didn’t understand, at the time, the impact that one race held for black communities all around the United States of America.  Blacks in Nevada didn’t show up for Harry Reid but the Hispanics did.  In the end, the majority leader in the Senate got 70% of a ever growing electorate.

Why does this matter to the black community?  We once again proved we can’t be trusted to show up,  even with Barack Obama as our President.  We can sing my Presidents’ Black and all those dumb songs but when it’s time to put up or shut up, we can’t be found.  Is it any wonder Senator Harry Reid is going full speed ahead with the Dream Act, a stealth form of Amnesty?   As Obama said, “reward your friends and punish your enemies”.

This concept was reinforced  when I attended the Republican Party of Virginia’s Advance.  The rank and file Republicans showed up and were seated on time.  The minority leadership, on the other hand, thought it was more important chit chat with the powers that be.  When we finally did get started, thirty minutes late and minus a moderator, I learned a lesson of how blacks are viewed by other minorities.  The Hispanic population in Virginia has grown by 18% in the last ten years, the Vietnamese population has grown by 18%, and the Black population by 1.2%.  As it stands, blacks in Virginia are now the third minority group, after Whites and Hispanics.  They made sure to point this out numerous times during the presentation, basically telling all the people in the crowd who were asking how to reach the black community, “why bother?”.

On our side  was me and an older black gentleman, who spent the entire time telling everyone in the room how long he’s been a Republican.  As I sat in frustration and anger, staring at the ceiling to prevent myself from saying something I shouldn’t, I remembered an experience I had over the summer.  I walked into a convenience store and there was a conversation between the two black employees.   One woman said, “times are hard and they won’t give us any help.”  The other woman replied, “you have to be a foreigner to get anything these days.”  I looked at the panel, of which I was the only born American, and thought “look what we’ve done to ourselves”.

Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, the forefathers of Communism/Socialism/Progressivism, believed some groups didn’t belong in a socialized society.  “Racial trash” is the name they gave to the groups who hadn’t even evolved into a capitalist state yet.  Every ethnicity in America has built it’s own network, except the black community.  I’ll say it again, if you want to find Communism/Socialism/Progressivism, then look to the black community.  Our blood, sweat and tears have stained every aspect of this country, but other than incomplete history books, we have nothing to show for it.   No local businesses, large property ownership, or successful communities to use as a model.  Every Black neighborhood is invaded by Democrats and left to falter into “traps”.  Either we have no interest in voting, have felonies and can’t vote, or vote blindly for the Democratic Party.

The irony lies in the Dream Act.  We have so dwindled our numbers with Abortion and Incarceration, we don’t realize the American Dream is being handed to someone else.  Here’s the rub, I don’t blame the Illegal Aliens for coming to America.  America is the greatest country on planet Earth and if I lived in Mexico, I would try to cross the boarder as well.  With that being said, I was born in America and my loyalty lies with what’s best for this country.  I’m also aware that many Mexican-Americans believe the best thing for this country is to forgo the Black Vote and legalize as many Illegal Aliens as possible.  You can see it’s beginning with Illegal Aliens being counted in the Census.  They can’t vote but their numbers can be used to select representation.  You can see the Democratic push in Al Sharpton spending the entire summer lobbying the Country for “Brown People”.  What about the Black people who have been supporting you for years and have a 18% unemployment rate.  Do you think the two could be problems of the same coin? More unskilled illegals, less unskilled jobs for those in the Black Community that need a hand up, not a hand out.

While we’re busy worrying if the Tea Party is racist, the real racial impact is coming from those that will legislate the Black Community into irrelevancy, yet again.  They push Abortion,  they push more regulation which leads to more laws and reasons to lock you up, and they push Amnesty which replaces our numbers with a fresh new stock of people.    And the Black Elite stand beside them as Champions of the little man.  When will we wake up and realize the Dream Act is a nightmare for Black America?

Pride and the Black Conservative

January 24th, 2011 | By

It’s 2011, A Brand New Year.

It’s customary to make a resolution, isn’t it?  We’re supposed to promise to lose weight (or in my case, gain a few pounds), stop smoking, be better stewards of our money, or this will be the year I find the love of life.  What ever the case, you’ve probably already given up on that resolution.

Instead, I offer you a reflection- in the form of a question- for the New Year.  Do you think you escaped the Indoctrination Process?

Over the last month I’ve been without my computer, special shout out to my hacker, but that time gave me a perspective of the Black Conservative Layout.  We are a Prideful bunch.  Each of us, walking around, all finding something to beef about and never accomplishing anything.  I never thought I would find myself agreeing with Van Jones but we have not been taught “how to rise up and grab the whip”.  I’m not talking the crazy Communist views of this man, but his analysis is alive and well on our side as well.

The same arguments we use against Liberals, I find in a strong abundance amongst Black Conservatives.

There are those who wait for a White Republican to say something out of line and they pounce.  How does this differ from the NAACP?

There are those who always complain about the problems but when asked to participate, they are too busy or caught up in their own lives to come up with solutions.  How does this differ from the uneducated masses you rail against?

There are those who offer themselves and their ideas as the be all, end all, solution to every problem that ails our communities.  How does this differ from the Elites currently in power, on both sides?

There are those who want to get paid and don’t care how they have sell their people short to accomplish this goal.  How does this differ from Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton?

There are those who act as Racism never existed, doesn’t currently exist, and refuses to give any credence to those who point out obvious contradictions to that belief.  How is that any different from those on the Left who play the Race Card for everything, not matter how ridiculous the argument?

Am I the only one who sees a problem here?  We are putting together the same power structure as the Left.  We are all trying to fit into their game board and we will lose.  Or should I question, have we already lost?  If the awakened and educated among us can’t be humble enough to realize we’re still playing in traps, did you escape the indoctrination?

And now time for my Personal Indoctrination Testimony!

I don’t trust people.  I learned very young in life, you can’t trust people.  You can admire them, love them, accept them, but very rarely can you trust them.  My mother didn’t teach me this lessons, I didn’t learn it from the Bible, but it was my chief principle during my teenage years.  Don’t trust a guy who says he just wants to chill, at home, for the night.   He’s not by himself.   Don’t trust females that have self-esteem issues.  They gossip and will trash you the moment the opportunity presents itself.  Don’t trust those who place blame on others.  Soon, they will be asking you to give them a ride to the store.

In all of this, I lost the ability to trust myself.  If no one is worthy of trust, then how can I trust myself.  I expect those around me to turn the minute it gets hot in the kitchen.  So when the kitchen gets hot, I’d turn as well.  Even with all I’ve learned about the importance of distrust in breaking a part our communities, I still find it extremely difficult to let people in.  In 2010, I not only started to trust people but I found people trusted in me.    This prospect scared me to death.  It’s unfamiliar, uncharted territory and I don’t like it.

Here’s the question:  Do I let my preconceived notions rule my life or do I walk in God’s word, no matter the discomfort?

Here’s the point:  We must get our head out of the clouds and back to reality.  We all grew up in a society that enforced fear, envy, and distrust.  We can’t pretend we escaped without some of the Liberal mindset sinking in.  Imagining we are without sin, or believing our sin weighs less than others, keeps us from reaching our true potential.  I implore Black Conservatives to find out what part of Liberalism most affected you and reflect if it still affects you.  The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.

David Bartholomew: The Absolute Definition of Insanity

October 19th, 2010 | By

I’m getting so tired.  I mean, it’s to the point, I think I’m talking to myself.

I made a promise to myself when I decided to become the President of the Frederick Douglass Foundation of Virginia.  I promised I would Be Revolutionary Not Reactionary.  Lately, I’ve found I’m surrounded by people who just don’t get it.

The Joke

MY DOG

I went down this morning to sign up my Dog for welfare.

At first the lady said, “Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare”.

So I explained to her that my Dog is black, unemployed, lazy, can’t speak English and has no frigging clue who his Daddy is.

So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify…

My Dog gets his first check Friday.

Is this a great country or what?

How did you respond?  Did you laugh?  Did you look for the dose of reality in the joke that makes it funny?  Or did you follow the Sharpton/Jackson template and say “Off With His Head”?  Did you react to the stupidity of one man, who rightfully resigned, instead of focusing on the Revolutionary thought of using this as one of those “Teachable Moments”?

First of all say, Sad but True.  Black Unemployment is double the National Average.  How many jobs did Bartholomew’s resignation create?  One for the person that will take his position.  And that person will answer to the same network, make deals with the same circles, and probably show the same disrespect for the black community.  Why?  Because we don’t show up.

Now, some of my black conservatives should know what I mean by not showing up but I digress.   What I really mean is, we haven’t captured the hearts of OUR communities, so why should the GOP care?  Elections take money and we aren’t donating.  Why should they care?  Candidates get elected by having a majority of the votes.  How many new black voters have you brought to the GOP?

Why do we act like Liberals when it comes to situations like these?   Why do we get in a huff and puff mode of condemning someone, for something I’m sure we’ve all done, instead of pointing out that some of them are lazy.  Yet, a huge majority are hard-working and given the opportunity would become huge assets to any company.  How many men were inspired by Bartholomew’s resignation?

Why don’t we question why they can’t speak English?  Why can’t we say, the Democrats who control the school boards have more to do with making this joke funny than any other entity in this state.   We spend billions of dollars on Education and our kids are still failing to learn the basic essentials like reading, writing, or filling out a job applications.  How many kids will graduate High School since Bartholomew resigned?

Don’t we all complain that one of the major issues in the black community is the lack of a two parent home?  Why shouldn’t we use this moment to point out that the underlying principle of  this joke is, Democrats and their I care so much attitude, basically pushing us down to the point of dogs.  They created the cycle of poverty and deprivation but instead of focusing our attention on them, we focus on those we feel are closet to us.

That’s a shame.  The people in our Communities should be the ones closest to us.  They should be the ones WE tell this joke to and say, see what they’ve made you into.  A Republican might have forwarded the email but Democrats, through their policy, have made it a reality.  Which is worse?

We claim to be against black leaders who use the race card.    Yet, all we do is release a message when a White Person does something racist.  Well, I believe the most racist act is standing by when death is busy in OUR neighborhoods.  It’s not coming from an email.  It’s coming from a community shaped by Democratic policy.  When will we start making that case?
